The .ORG Impact Awards 2025 have officially opened for nominations, providing a global platform to recognize and celebrate individuals and organizations using the .ORG domain to create lasting positive change in their communities and across the world.
Now in its annual cycle, the .ORG Impact Awards—organized by the Public Interest Registry—honor mission-driven efforts across diverse sectors including education, health, environment, inclusion, and poverty reduction. Notably, the awards are free to enter and open to both individuals and organizations operating with a verified .ORG website.
Key Award Categories:
- Health and Healing
- Quality Education for All
- Environmental Stewardship
- Hunger and Poverty
- Community Building
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Rising Star (individuals under age 30)
Each of the seven category winners will be eligible for the top honor, .ORG of the Year, which recognizes outstanding global impact through digital platforms.
Important Dates:
- Nominations Close: June 4, 2025
- Finalists Announced: August 12, 2025
- In-Person Awards Event: October 7–8, 2025, Washington, D.C.
Recognition and Support:
Finalists will receive a cash donation of $2,500, while winners in each category will be awarded $10,000. The .ORG of the Year will receive a $40,000 USD donation to support their continued mission. All finalists will be invited to the in-person celebration in Washington, D.C., with travel and accommodation support provided.
