Lagos, June 29, 2023 – The Lagos State Government has hosted a grand welcome reception for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he returned to Lagos for a well-deserved Eid celebration break. The event, organized by the state government, aimed to honor President Tinubu’s distinguished service and commemorate his remarkable contributions to the nation.
Governor Sanwolu took to the official Twitter page of the state government to announce the reception, expressing his utmost delight and honor to welcome President Tinubu back to the “Center of Excellence.” He described President Tinubu’s life, work, and legacy as a guiding light for all citizens, emphasizing the significance of his return to Lagos.
Dignitaries in attendance included esteemed colleagues from the Nigeria Governors Forum, leaders of the National Assembly, government officials, and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
